adidas welcomes spring, celebrating the special relationship between Germany and Japan with a pastel-hued ZX 8000 pack.

Inspired by hanami – the tradition of appreciating the short-lived bloom of cherry blossoms – the duo of sneakers signify Japan donating thousands of the flowers to Berlin after the fall of the wall in ’89.

Built from a palette of soothing pastel hues, the subtle uppers are joined by dual-city lace jewels that further reference the relationship. It’s not all looks, though. Underfoot, the iconic Torsion system teams with an EVA midsole to keep you comfortable, whether you’re in Tokyo, Berlin or beyond.
