Gary Aspden's heritage-inspired subline pens a love letter to the north with the Manchester 89 SPZL.
A fitting tribute to the Mancunian spirit - and their affinity with the Three-Stripes' city series - the 89 SPZL reimagines the terrace sneaker with a pared-down take on a casual silhouette which lets the colours and materials do the talking.
Built with uppers in a deep blue suede and nubuck, the silhouette is brought to life with vibrant flashes of red at the heel, tongue, and across the iconic three-stripe insignia. Finished with a sole unit borrowed for The Spezial silhouette and a classic T toe cap, Manchester 89 SPZL presents a contemporary take on the terrace-ready sneakers of Aspden's youth.
