This season, Dr. Martens partners with the estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat, adding work from the late artist to iconic models in the lineup. The 1461 shoe is the canvas of choice here, and the toes are covered in the two figures from Basquiat’s ‘Dustheads’. The colourful, chaotic characters add a stark contrast to the black uppers, much like they did against a black background on canvas, and are joined by Dr. Martens’ signature yellow details throughout. Contrasting eyelets and four crowns – two on the heels and two on the deubrés – complete the look.
