In 2012, it secured the title of official sideline cap for the NFL, and by 2016, it became the official on-court cap supplier for the NBA. This achievement made New Era the first brand in sports history to hold exclusive headwear rights for on-field, sideline, and on-court use in all three major U.S. sports leagues.
