RON TRENT - "WHAT DO THE STARS SAY TO YOU"
Ron Trent has spent decades crafting deep, texture-rich music — a passion that has led him to explore beyond the limitations of the dancefloor, delving into an array of sounds from a broad spectrum. His latest album, “What Do the Stars Say to You”, encapsulates that approach perfectly, with a relaxing, meticulous blend of house, disco, jazz and ambient.
GORILLAZ FEAT. THUNDERCAT - "CRACKER ISLAND"
Gorillaz partner with bassist and vocalist Thundercat with “Cracker Island”: an energetic, funk-inflected track centred around cults and stan culture. Damon Albarn and Thundercat combine their vocals throughout the release, as well as their depth of musicality and instrumentalism.
Following on from “Fantasy” that released earlier in the year, Jacques Greene revisits a key track from the EP, “Relay”. The reworked, club-tested edit is released alongside an extended, experimental remix from Munich-based producer Skee Mask.
