Check Out The Best Streetstyle at Oslo Fashion Week

Statement tailoring with a rugged Norwegian edge

In the age of digital communications, Scandinavia has emerged as a northern-outpost of the influential style elite who - despite their modest size and relative geographical exile - make a significant contribution to global style each season.

Home to an impressive spread of some of the world's most forward-thinking and spoken about brands and labels, the Nordic countries have elegantly put to use the power of new media to claim ownership of their own design DNA and aesthetic voice at a global level. Most notable are the Swedish and Danish capitals - Stockholm and Copenhagen respectively - both of which are now firmly established as Scandi-hubs of style and influence.

Perhaps lesser known is Oslo, the Norwegian capital which stands apart as a subversive stronghold of experimentalist ideals; a symbol of enduring youth-culture rebellion and subcultural style-tropes. Having only established its Fashion Week in 2015, Oslo's official contribution to the international fashion industry is still in its infancy but looks set to make a significant impact in the years ahead.

Shooting the scenes on the street for the AW18 presentations, END.'s photo-journalist Robert Spangle captured the best style from outside the presentations.
