SHANTI CELESTE'S WORLD OF FRUIT & COLOUR: QUEEN TANGERINE X MAGIC CASTLES

A mainstay within the world of contemporary electronic music over the past 8 years, Shanti Celeste has built a dedicated following for her infectious DJ sets, varied productions and distinctively vibrant aesthetics. Pirouetting between tropical dance music modes and new age ambience, Celeste’s music and selections have propelled her to the top of the modern dance music sphere, whether heard on the dancefloor or in a calmer milieu. Running her label, Peach Discs, with British DJ and producer Gramercy, the Chilean-born musician cultivates a compelling world of joyous sounds, reflected in a colour palette of pastels and bright hues.
Compounding on the visual sensibility that runs through the core of her output as a musician, Celeste has recently returned to a former passion in visual arts. Creating paintings, drawings and digital artworks effervescent with her own brand of playfulness under the moniker Queen Tangerine, the London-based creative is delving into new territory with a collaboration with Magic Castles.
Formed through a mutual connection, Celeste’s union with Magic Castles sees the musician draw from her distinctive visual background to cultivate a unique world of image that reflects the audio environments she so effortlessly conjures.
