END. X DIADORA N9000

A cornerstone of the high street, the greengrocers is an indispensable part of the UK’s cultural and commercial fabric. Purveyors of the finest fruit and veg, these family-run establishments celebrate fresh, locally grown produce, placing emphasis on quality and supplying restaurants and the community with healthy produce on their doorstep. 

Harvesting inspiration from the greengrocers theme, Diadora’s collaboration with END. sees the iconic Caerano di San Marco-based brand transform their N9000 sneaker in a soft pink hairy suede in a continuation of previous collaborations’ fruit themes, “Limoncello” & “Grappa”. Inspired by the colours created when strawberries are combined with cream, the collaborative rendition of the legendary sneaker pays homage to the courtside staple of British summertime that can be found at any local greengrocer.  

A classic silhouette taken from Diadora’s extensive archives, the 1990s model blends the brand’s retro-running aesthetic cues and premium construction. Assembled by hand in Italy, the N9000 is embellished with subtle details across it’s make up. The PVC coated side stripes introduce notes of glossy white, while the translucent outsole reveals bespoke END. branding for a flourish of uncompromising style and the upper is framed with 3M piping. Diadora branding to the tongue sits pride of place, while embroidery to the heel awards the sneaker further limited-edition charm, with END.9000 branding signing off the collaboration. Completing the look, a printed insole further introduces elements of the strawberry theme, and the sneakers are housed inside a bespoke co-branded shoebox.
