CARHARTT WIP X END. JEWELLERY WORKSHOP @ END. WOMEN'S

In celebration of the opening of our debut Womenswear store, END. and Carhartt WIP hosted a jewellery workshop led by designer Kirby Roseina.

The opening of our debut womenswear store in Newcastle marks a new chapter in END.’s event calendar, one where we look to authentically connect with the female community in the heart of the North East. In light of that, END. linked up with Carhartt WIP to host a jewellery making workshop led by designer and Goods' founder, Kirby Roseina.

The day kickstarted with attendees being given a tutorial on how the workshop will run, with a step-by-step guide on how to create the bespoke piece of jewellery. As well as this, guests were provided with Carhartt-branded aprons and tools to equip them for the activity. To guide each individual on how the final product would look, a pre-made piece was then passed around the crowd, which consisted of a Carhartt WIP beanie suspended from a chain.

Attendees then began drawing, either directly onto a piece of wax or onto paper, the shape in which they wanted their Carhartt beanie to look. To further achieve different textures and shapes, sandpaper and heat tools were applied to the wax, shortly before individuals applied their own unique, hand-engraved detailing. Once completed, each guest selected their chain to accompany their wax moulds, which would be casted by Kirby and then shipped out to each attendee upon completion. Alongside this, everyone received a goody bag filled with Carhartt accessories such as beanies, lighters, socks and tote bags.
