Trudon Home

Since 1643, Trudon has been perfecting the art of candle-making — a legacy born in Paris and still burning bright today. The story begins with Claude Trudon selling spices and candles on Rue Saint Honoré, laying the foundations for his family’s legacy. By the 18th century, Trudon was the largest wax producer in the kingdom of France, serving kings, palaces and cathedrals with its perfectly white beeswax candles. The motto, “Deo Regique Laborant” (“They work for God and the King”), honours the bees’ tireless service.

Four centuries later, the house of Trudon’s offerings have flourished: with eau de parfums, candles, hand wash and reed diffusers carrying the torch of its rich, storied history. Housed in iconic green glass with golden labels that reference a bas relief found at the old Royal Wax Manufacture, Trudon creations are a gift to all the senses. Handcrafted in Normandy, the tradition of meticulous artistry and craftsmanship continues.

Behind each Trudon fragrance lies unparalleled expertise, as well as collaboration with world-class perfumers. Find scents that transport you to distant places: smoky hotel rooms amidst the Cuban revolution, the romantic gardens of Joséphine Bonaparte, and the regal Hall of Mirrors in the Château de Versailles.
