FDMTL is steadfast in its use of traditional craft techniques, and that approach is brought over to its ongoing collaborations with Vans Vault, too. This rework of the iconic Slip-On showcases that. The shoe’s overall shape and skate-ready sole unit remain as they always do, though they’re coloured entirely in indigo blue — as most things are with FDMTL — and feature distressing and sashiko stitching across the uppers to nod to boro patchwork.
