The pattern that adorns the shell marks a character drawn by the artist, taken out of order in a random placement of shapes to conceal the identity – working like a kind of camouflage. With the ‘heart and soul’ going into every stitch, Yoshida show that appreciation and dedication to expert craftsmanship.
