END. COLLABORATIONS RETROSPECTIVE 2025

As 2025 comes to a close, we take a look back at our footwear collaborations throughout the past year.

A momentous year for END., 2025 has signaled our 20th anniversary, so collaborations were an ideal way to honour this milestone moment. Building on longstanding collaborative partnerships and embarking on new ventures, the year has seen us connect with a variety of industry veterans and up-and-coming brands to create exciting product stories told through the medium of sneakers.

Placing narrative-led storytelling at the core of our collaborative projects this year, with the North East coastline, the corner shop and the humble British pub serving as key settings, each project has connected with our heritage as a North Eastern brand. From chip shop inspired adidas Army BW sneakers to Salomon’s XT-Whisper Void receiving an avocado themed make-over, 2025 has commemorated 20 years of END. being at the forefront of sneaker culture. As the year draws to a close, lets take a look back at the year and the collaborative footwear that defined it.

END. X VANS LX OLD SKOOL 136 'PARACHUTE'

Drawing influence from vintage military parachutes, the inaugural footwear collaboration from END. in 2025 saw the British retailer link up with skate legends Vans, enlisting visual artist, photographer, skateboarder and musician Sam Hutchinson to create his own artworks inspired by the LX Old Skool 136 “Parachute”.  Joining forces with long term collaborators Vans once again, we tapped the Californian skateboarding stalwarts for a bespoke style in a premium make-up. Presenting the END. x Vans LX Old Skool 136, the two brands delivered a rugged and durable skate shoe silhouette that encapsulated Vans’ rich heritage with a subtle military sensibility and a refined outlook.

END. X ADIDAS 'TYING THE KNOT'

Celebrating the longstanding partnership of END. and adidas Consortium, we linked up with the German footwear titans to present “Tying the Knot”: a two-piece capsule of collaborative sneakers inspired by romantic relationships and traditional wedding attire. Centring around the iconic adidas Japan OG W and the Superstar Vintage silhouettes, the collaboration honoured these classic styles with a new make-up to love and cherish.

END. X SALOMON XT-6 'EMERALD'

Heralding the arrival of our 20th anniversary, we joined forces with French outdoor specialists Salomon for a jewel inspired make-up of the much-lauded XT-6 trail sneaker. Originally released in 2013, the silhouette has perfectly balanced reliable durability with contemporary style, becoming an icon of modern footwear design. The perfect canvas for commemorating the moment, the modern classic silhouette was cast in a colour combination honouring both the traditional and the modern gifts given in celebrating this anniversary: emerald and platinum.

END. X ADIDAS BW ARMY

Presenting the beginning of their 20th anniversary celebrations, we visited our beloved North East coastline to honour the momentous milestone. First fuelling up at the pride and joy of many British beaches, we joined forces with adidas to present a gastronomic twist on their BW Army shoe. Served up in the sneaker’s classic white and grey combination, scale-textured panels to the side wall nodded to the chip shop’s dish of choice: fish and chips. Fluffy laces added further texture to the sneaker, while a contrasting dark grey suede panel sat to the heel.

END. X LACOSTE UMPIRE SNEAKER

Plucking aesthetic cues from high octane arcade driving video games, END.’s collaboration with Lacoste delivered ‘90s motorsport style in spades. Featuring the Umpire sneaker in an off-white hairy suede with a metal croc logo to the side wall. Embellished with appliqué patches that nodded to the car club motifs of the era, the footwear style was signed off with a brand-new END. and Lacoste logo in blue and green.

END. X AND WANDER X CROCS TRAILBREAK 2

A three-way union between END., and wander and Crocs saw the three brands deliver a utilitarian footwear style perfected for coastal walks. Decked out in a stealthy all black colourway, the adapted Trailbreak 2 silhouette blended trail aesthetics with water sports functionality. A neoprene boot is sealed with a protective taped zip closure, while tonal branding from and wander and Crocs detailed the ankle and the side wall. The shoe’s chunky sole unit extended around the forefoot, while the collection’s tonal water print subtly connected the style to its oceanic influence.

END. X MIZUNO WAVE RIDER 10 SNEAKER

Submerged in our coastal theme, END.’s collection looked to the North Sea for inspiration in their second capsule. Taking aesthetic cues from the depths of the ocean, Mizuno and END. delivered a sub-aqueous rendition of the Japanese sportswear brand’s iconic Wave Rider 10 sneaker. Cast in a combination of Black Beauty and Estate Blue, the ‘00s running style embodied the nadirs of the deep blue.

END. X Y-3 A3 CONTROL SNEAKER

Tapping into the uncompromising world of Y-3, END. presented their ‘Emerald’ capsule collection. Brimming with essential sporting style from the Japanese designed brand, we honoured our 20th year of existence with a subtle nod to the anniversary across the four pieces in emerald green – the precious gemstone associated with the landmark moment. Centring around the A3 Control sneaker, the iconic ‘00s silhouette celebrated the legacy of both END. and Y-3, dressed in a striking platinum silver colourway.

END. X ADIDAS ADISTER HRMY

Paying tribute to the origins of END. and its British heritage, the retailer connected with collaborators, old and new, to share a collection inspired by an indispensable part of daily life in the UK: the convenience store. Looking to the ‘Newsagents’ to kick things off, END. enlisted adidas to share a bespoke make-up of their brand-new HRMY silhouette. Part running sneaker, part lifestyle shoe, the Adistar HRMY style centred around the corner shop as the traditional hub of news in the community, with the sneaker’s tonal grey and white colourway calling to mind the printed ink of physical news outlets.

END. X ASICS GEL-NIMBUS™ 10.1

END. and ASICS SportStyle teamed up to unveil the GEL-NIMBUS™ 10.1, a contemporary take on ASICS’ archival running silhouette. This design-led collaboration blended END.’s celebration of British corner shop culture with ASICS’ dedication to performance-driven everyday comfort. Part of END.’s 20th anniversary ‘Corner Shop’ collection, the GEL-NIMBUS™ 10.1 drew on the familiar experience of late-night visits to local stores, havens of everyday essentials like milk, nostalgic snacks, and unexpected delights. Together, END. and ASICS fused this cultural touchstone with Japanese craftsmanship to deliver a modern lifestyle sneaker that embodies both concept and function.

END. X SALOMON XT-WHISPER VOID

Presented by the END. and the Salomon in a colourful make-up alluding to the luscious greens and deep black hues of an avocado, the XT-Whisper Void embraced its inspiration without forgoing technical details. Nodding to the native Central American fruit, commonly found nestled amongst the delights of the greengrocers, semi-translucent swathes of iridescent Agave Green were set against a lighter Lime Cream hue, emulating the vivid gradient of colours found once the dark exterior of the avocado fruit is split open.

END. X DIADORA N9000

Harvesting inspiration from the greengrocers theme, Diadora’s collaboration with END. saw the iconic Caerano di San Marco-based brand transform their N9000 sneaker in a soft pink hairy suede in a continuation of previous collaborations’ fruit themes, “Limoncello” & “Grappa”. Inspired by the colours created when strawberries are combined with cream, the collaborative rendition of the legendary sneaker paid homage to the courtside staple of British summertime that can be found at any local greengrocer.

END. X SAUCONY 'OLIVE BRANCH'

Following on from 2024’s Triumph 4 ‘Nessie’ collaboration, END. and Saucony linked up once again with a duo of sneakers inspired by the rich and vibrant colours of green olives. Using the ProGrid Omni 9 and Shadow 6000 sneakers as blank canvases for the exclusive capsule’s make-up, each pair is dressed in a combination of rich olive tones and bright white in honour of one the oldest cultivated trees on Earth: the olive tree.

END. X PUMA 'PUB'

Returning to collaborate with one of our long-term brand partners, END. and PUMA reunited once more, this time over a pint in the pub. Presenting a duo of the German sportswear brand’s universally lauded silhouettes, the low profile Speedcat and chunkier Suede styles were transformed with subtle black and white make-ups, nodding to Puma’s footwear history and past ventures in the world of football boots.

END. X ADIDAS GAZELLE INDOOR PRO SHOE

Championing grassroots football and its affiliation with the pub setting, END. and adidas shared a four-piece selection brimming with bespoke details. Centred around a black, white and teal rendition of the Gazelle Indoor Pro shoe, a nod to archival jerseys from END.’s hometown club, the classic terrace shoe was outfitted with bespoke branded details across its limited-edition make up.

END. X ON CLOUDHORIZON

Embarking on our debut partnership with the Swiss brand, we blended our DNA to deliver a footwear style that encapsulated On’s unparalleled performance capabilities and END.’s charismatic aesthetic outlook. Heading out into the picturesque and almost-otherworldly wilds of the Yorkshire Dales, we worked with land artist duo strl_ to create a performative walking project, entitled Weightless Traces, and wear-test the Cloudhorizon hiking sneaker.
