The Japanese brand has affiliated itself with skiing, speed skating and beyond with the same unwavering ethos - to always be faithful to its grassroots manufacturing integrity, and constant quest for perfection and contemporary appeal.

With advancements in sportswear innovation continuing to thrive over eight decades later, Descente unveiled ALLTERRAIN, an innovative lifestyle line, to its umbrella. This concept saw Descente, always best known for its dedicated pursuit of specific, high tech, cutting-edge sporting wear, move into a new and different field – designing a range of “function before form” clothing that allow the wearer to decide how and when they should be worn.

Making its debut at END. for Autumn/Winter 2017, the collection is a masterclass in minimalism. Each jacket is equipped with forward-facing ergonomic construction, such as Streamline Technology seams, which controls surface water flow by channelling it away from the pockets.
