WHAT HAPPENED: END. & DR. MARTENS PRESENT THE LOWELL DELI @ BADA BING

We took over Manchester’s Bada Bing Deli with Dr. Martens — here’s what happened.

Showcasing Dr. Martens’ latest shoe silhouette, the Lowell, we took over one of Manchester’s premier sandwich spots for a day of hoagies, music and premium footwear. Transforming Bada Bing into The Lowell Deli, the sub shop that sits in the heart of the Northern Quarter became a shrine to the British footwear brand’s latest creation: the moc-toed Lowell Leather shoe.

Serving up supersized subs from a bespoke menu to the good folks of Manchester, attendees were offered the chance to win a pair of the Lowell shoes — a style that infuses the brand’s iconic British design language with a modern twist. Soundtracked by Manchester independent radio station Crop Radio, the day honoured an modern institution of the Northern city and a new step forward for a jewel in the crown of British design.
