Blondey McCoy Ends Partnership With Palace Skateboards

A mainstay in the Palace Skateboards roster since 2012, 21-year-old skateboarder, designer, model and all-round creative Blondey McCoy has parted ways with the Soho-based label.

After joining the Palace Wayward Boys Club at age 14, a mere three years after the brand was founded, the multi-hyphenate and skateboarding extraordinaire found cult fame with Lev Tanju's label and his own distinctive charisma. Commenting via instagram, McCoy has stated that "the company and I have grown up together, with the stories of our formative years intertwined and dependent upon each other. But now the time has come for us to part and pursue our separate futures."

Having launched his eponymous clothing brand, Blondey, in 2018,  the designer has continued to develop an extensive portfolio of talents. Modelling for The Kate Moss Agency, alongside the supermodel and her daughter, Lila Moss, Blondey walked the runway in Virgil Abloh's historic inaugural collection for Louis Vuitton's Spring Summer 2019 menswear collection, as well as launching his own art exhibition, titled "All a Tremulous Heart Requires".

Prolific throughout his career at Palace, Blondey McCoy has no intention of slowing down on his creative journey to deliver a unique, personal vision, full of wit and a light-hearted sensibility.
