EBIT Cardigans

EBIT™ - Enjoy Being in Transition™ - was founded by Simon Whitehouse in the aftermath of the pandemic. EBIT™ seeks to ignite conversation around mental health and challenge how the fashion community communicates and advocates for genuine well-being. As a mental health culture brand, its clothing aims to show how fashion can create curiosity and compassion for mental health conditions.

Promoting positive conversations and normalisation, the label taps into the creativity of designers, musicians and artists to create its projects. Each collection is a voice for change - all garments in the gender-fluid line are made from organic cotton and in Italy, including denim, gabardine, and jersey. The ‘I Love You’ graphic is a visual identity created by M/M (Paris), a reflection of John Skelton’s (Cultural Director) 3-year sobriety and mental health struggles.

Each detail from EBIT™ uses fashion and design to provoke empathy and understanding. Don’t overlook raw edges and seams, it symbolises the emotions and challenging paths in society. The hexagonal cut out represents the choice to reveal or conceal our inner narratives, mirroring how moods shift. Finally, every item has the sky blue label to symbolise the shifting balance of mood and healing.
