Nigel Cabourn’s SS17 “Desert Rats” collection pays homage to the 7th Armoured Brigade; a part of the British army during the Second World War who have become famous for being one of the military’s most distinguished units. Replicating a US flight jacket, the avid collector has decorated this army jacket with a symbol used by the Desert Rats. As a fabric-driven designer, the bomber has been made from a specially sourced cotton and nylon blend to replicate a fabric used for US parkers.
