Asics x Monkey Time Gel MaiBlack & White
“Faded Grey” by name, faded grey by nature; ASICS and monkey time reunite for a monochrome-looking pair of GEL-Mai sneakers. A late-‘90s release, the head-turning look of the GEL-Mai became famous for ditching the Tiger Stripes in favour of a one-piece futuristic upper. Sporting a monochrome colourway for its collaboration with Japanese brand monkey time, the shoes white midsole support the mesh uppers and bi-coloured black and white suede. Striped asymmetric lacing adds retro sensibilities to the throwback model, while two distinct shades of grey mesh live up to its name.
