Kihachiro Onitsuka's Japanese sportswear label ASICS has linked up with Angelo Baque's streetwear brand Awake NYC to create a brand new silhouette in the GEL-NYC. The GEL-NYC sneakers feature ASICS’s signature mix for mesh uppers with suede overlays for a bold multi-panel design, complete with GEL cushioning in the wavy midsole for unmatched comfort. ASICS embroidered branding can be found at the tongue and heel tab, while Awake NYC’s emblem is featured at the side for some NYC flair.
