Vans Vault has long been a SoCal icon. From skatewear to surfing, however you view it. And that is where fellow West Coast native Noon Goons draws so much inspiration. For SS21, they come together to celebrate just that, reworking sneaker icons that’re synonymous with the region and its culture. It’s the much-loved Slip-On that gets the nod this time, with its usual canvas upper switched out for blue crushed velvet to reflect both labels’ bold aesthetics. Noon Goons’ Gothic branding features at each heel, too, but the skate-ready sole is as we’re familiar with: high foxing tape and a grippy, waffle rubber outer.
