Collaborations

END. x Reebok Zig Kinetica II "Jupiter"

Following on from END. and Reebok’s Club C “Chalk” collaboration earlier this year, the two titans of the sneaker world join forces once again, mining interplanetary inspiration to present the Zig Kinetica II “Jupiter” pack.

Fifth in line from the Sun, Jupiter is by far the largest planet in the Solar System – more than twice the total size of all the other planets combined. Drawing upon the gargantuan planet’s familiar stripes and swirls of cold, windy clouds of ammonia and water floating in an atmosphere of hydrogen and helium, this sporting sneaker’s silhouette is infused with an extra-terrestrial aesthetic referencing the planet’s striking look and the greater Milky Way galaxy.
Utilising the technically advanced Zig Kinetica II’s Zig Energy System and Lightweight Floatride fuel cushioning as a centre point, the “Jupiter” pack blends space-age aesthetics with uncompromising progressive design.
Built with mono mesh translucent uppers, a haptic print sits across the sneakers, emulating Jupiter’s trademark patterning. With a suede leather tongue and a translucent TPU clip to the side wall, subtle co-branded detailing sits quietly to the tongue for a final flourish of brand appeal. Dressed in a sand, cliff stone and straw combination, the first offering subtly reflects the gaseous planet’s distinctive orange hues, while the second colourway – reflective of the vast expanse of the Milky Way – is rendered in blue hills, boulder grey and reflective blue tones. Complete with printed sockliners reflective of each model’s theme, the Zig Kinetica II sneakers are housed inside bespoke shoeboxes that carry on the collaboration’s key motifs.
Presenting a galactic twist on athletic footwear style, the END. x Reebok Zig Kinetica II “Jupiter” pack encapsulates the beauty of the unknown and the wonder of the Solar System.
