The collaborative venture between German sportswear brand adidas and Paris-based Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto, Y-3 exists on the cusp of a turning point — a place where new ideas and possibilities can take root. For Y-3’s womenswear, adidas brings its performance expertise, technical fabrications and archival insignias to the table, while Yamamoto introduces avant-garde flourishes through layering, disrupted silhouettes and unexpected details.
