MEDICOM TOY partners with END. for their debut collection, “Carrera”, reworking the iconic BE@RBRICK toy in a trio of sizes: 100%, 400% and 1,000%.
Since it was first unveiled in 2001, MEDICOM TOY’s BE@RBRICK has represented a mainstay in the contemporary streetwear sphere — a ubiquitous emblem with deep cultural ties spanning everything from music and films to art and fashion. It's these cultural ties that have long underpinned END., with the British retailer and Japanese label coming together as a celebration of that shared connection.
MEDICOM TOY’s BE@RBRICK is reworked with inspiration taken from END.’s visual codes, with cues borrowed from both the British retailer’s brick and mortar stores and its ever-recognisable shopping bags.
Each BE@RBRICK is reworked in a Carrera marble-like effect — mirroring the interior of END.’s coveted stores and lending the iconic toy a refined aesthetic — as well as printed with the retailer’s name across the chest. To further the references to END.’s distinctive codes, each BE@RBRICK comes housed in kraft packaging, complete with co-branded printing as a nod to END.’s signature shopping bags. The BE@RBRICK will be available both as a 100% and 400% two-pack, as well as in an individual 1,000% size.
The END. x MEDICOM TOY “Carrera” collection will launch via END. Launches on the 5th November.
