JJJJound is Justin Saunders’ Montreal label, and it’s always done minimalism the right way. This time, the label has gone back to the shoe where its New Balance story began in 2018: the 990v3. The usual mesh is gone. Instead, the whole upper is made from sandy tan suede, giving the Made in USA staple a smoother, more cohesive look. The branding stays small in true JJJJound form, with the logo on the insole and a barely-there counterpart on the heel.
