Celebrating the release of their upcoming publication with Rizzoli, From Soul to Sole, author Jason Coles and iconic footwear designer, Jacques Chassaing, are joined by the creative force behind adidas SPEZIAL, Gary Aspden, at END. Manchester as part of The Three Stripes ‘SPEZIAL F.C.’ exhibition in the city across 18th - 27th November.

Jason Coles has been in the sports industry his whole working life and has worked with some of the biggest brands, events and athletes in the business. A self-confessed sneaker-head, Jason knowledge about the history of sports shoes is unsurpassed.

Jacques Chassaing is one of the most respected sneaker designers in the world. Often called the father of modern running and basketball sneakers, Jacques Chassaing has shaped and influenced sports and street fashion like few designers ever will. A pioneering designer, Chassaing’s forty-year boundary-pushing career has led the creation of many of the world’s most beloved designs including the Forum, Rivalry, Lendl, Edberg, ZX series, Predator, EQT line, Torsion, and his Porsche Design collabs, to name but a few.

Gary Aspden is a brand consultant with a clear vision on creating connections between brands and popular culture. Renowned for his curation of the SPEZIAL line for adidas Originals, as well as his vast adidas archive, Aspden has had a hand in some of the brand’s key milestones including The global launch of adidas Originals, the European launch of Y-3 and a number of collaborative projects (A Bathing Ape, Superstar 35th anniversary, FAC51-Y-3, Kazuki for Originals by Originals).

This event will be highly popular and tickets are free - reservation is advised.
