Asics and Beams are no strangers, but their latest rework of the Gel-Kayano 14 is the best yet. Its retro runner style is crafted with mesh and leather uppers, while a layer of GORE-TEX keeps things dry. The show-stopper, however, comes in the form of clips and popper studs, which allow you to attach a mosquito net which covers the uppers - inspired by Japanese word for mosquito net, Kaya, which is interestingly close to the silhouettes name.
