When Charlie Lindström broke a pair of glasses, he realised that despite his sense of style completely evolving in the six years he’d owned them, he still wanted to replace them with a pair that looked exactly the same. It sparked the realisation that sunglasses are so much more than an accessory; that they’re immune to the fleeting nature of trends. If anything, they’re a personal statement of who you are. So, he founded CHIMI with friend Daniel Djurdjevic in 2016 — an eyewear brand and community of “freedom, empowerment and ease.”
