Appearing out of the smoke and into the neon blue lights, White Mountaineering’s MA-1 jacket walked the SS17 catwalk surrounded by tropical prints and colourful camouflage patterns. Channelling the collections adventurous influences, Creative Director Yosuke Aizawa focuses on the Japanese labels concept of design, utility, technology; using technical materials and utilitarian styling to update the military silhouette.
