Founded in 1994 by Hardy Blechman, Maharishi means ‘great seer’ in Sanskrit. The label uses design to explore the dualistic nature of the universe, by blending Eastern and Western styles and influences. Its Long Sleeve Samurai vs. Dragon Tee has Eastern origins; it features artwork from Utagawa Yoshitsuya, who was known for his large scale depictions of warriors and legendary animals - this time a Samurai and a dragon.
