Women's Needles

From the age of 13, Keizo Shimizu developed an obsession with Ivy League style, sparked by the discovery and subsequent treasuring of a Men’s Club “Made in USA” catalogue. Established under the Nepenthes umbrella later on in ‘97, Needles was primarily about making something that didn’t yet exist, which also just so happened to be exactly what Shimizu was wanting to wear himself. The label maintains this niche, personal aura today, with iconic tracksuits, “7 Cuts” shirts, baggy trousers and tees forming its most coveted line-up.
