NAS – “MAGIC”
Nas’ latest full-length project, titled “Magic”, marks the rap legend’s fourteenth solo studio album. The nine-track piece showcases what the hip-hop icon does best: combining old-school beats with gritty and razor-sharp lyricism.
THE ALCHEMIST – “CYCLES"
The Alchemist’s latest project, “Cycles”, showcases the artist's multifaceted production abilities. The instrumental score is designed to accompany Jason Goldwatch’s namesake film, with six atmospheric, synth-heavy tracks that serve to enhance the video’s experimental visuals.
CURREN$Y – “PILOT TALK 4”
Curren$y returns with the fourth instalment of his Pilot Talk series, titled “Pilot Talk 4”. The ten-track project, which is produced entirely by Ski Beatz, sees the New Orleans rapper deliver his usual laidback rhymes against relaxing instrumentals.
BONOBO & JOJI – "FROM YOU"
Bonobo teases his forthcoming album, “Fragments”, with “From You”: an atmospheric track made in partnership with Joji. The release combines Joji’s soothing vocals with a downtempo, bass-heavy instrumental, reflecting the laidback sound favoured by both halves of the partnership.
DANIEL SON & FUTUREWAVE – “SON TZU & THE WAV. GOD”
Toronto natives Daniel Son & Futurewave reunite with “Son Tzu & The Wav.God”: a ten-track project that showcases their gritty approach to hip-hop. Heavily-sampled beats provide the backdrop for Son’s rugged lyrics, as well as guest verses delivered by Rome Streetz and Pro Dillinger.
