Golf’s no longer the quiet kid in the corner, it’s suddenly keeping pace with the famously fashionable sports. What used to be a uniform of argyle knits and politely pressed polos now feels wide‑open, playful, and genuinely cool. Malbon, the LA lifestyle brand, is proving this shift, rewriting the dress code with golfwear that doesn’t have to stay on the green.

Founded in 2017 by husband‑and‑wife duo Stephen and Erica Malbon, Malbon golf clothing grew out of Stephen’s frustration with stiff, traditional gear. Instead of accepting the status quo, they built something looser, livelier, and plugged directly into culture. Malbon clothing blends fashion, music, art, and design into pieces that feel as at home on the fairway as they do on Fairfax. It’s golfwear which crosses over into casualwear, covering everything from Malbon t-shirts to trousers to outerwear.
