Carhartt WIP has used nylon before but the Richmond shoulder bag is one of the clearest examples of them choosing technical fabrics over their usual canvas heritage — and here, it genuinely improves the design. The fabric keeps it light, adds water‑repellent protection, and gives the whole bag a more city‑focused feel — from commutes to coffee runs.
