Manchester United’s 1990-92 away kit was a far cry from its all-red usual, and that’s the exact retro design revived from adidas’ archives for Pharrell Williams’ latest Human Race capsule. The recycled rib jersey is patterned with an inky, shard-like take on the original’s cobalt geometric print, while the drop’s playfulness shows in the branded details. United’s famous red and yellow crest, along with adidas’ Trefoil and three stripes, is smudged and crooked, as though taken from a child’s drawing.
