The Refugio 26L works as an everyday pack when the laptop sleeve is in, and as a light‑hiking pack when you take it out. Patagonia designed the main compartment so the sleeve and a hydration bladder use the same space — you swap one for the other. Once the sleeve’s removed, you can clip in a bladder, thread the hose through the port, and the bag behaves like a small trail pack, without looking like one.
