Artek and Tokyo-based leather artisan brand Hender Scheme bring together two very different design traditions with their latest collaboration. Taking cues from the soft, sculptural forms associated with Finnish designer Aino Aalto, the clock swaps conventional materials for vegetable-tanned leather, showcasing Hender Scheme's expertise in unexpected ways. Over time, exposure to light and daily handling leaves its mark, giving the piece a character that's uniquely its own.
