The Helston jacket is cut from Carhartt WIP’s hard‑wearing Smith denim, then finished with paint splatters that nod to the DIY customising seen in early WIP skate circles. Smith denim itself was developed as a softer, more wearable counterpoint to Carhartt’s original workwear twills, giving pieces like this a lived‑in feel from day one. With the classic Square Label at the chest, it’s a creative, slightly rebellious twist on a core Carhartt silhouette.
