The Artek x Marimekko Stool 60 – Lokki marks 90 years of Artek with a design match made in Finland: Alvar Aalto’s iconic 1933 “L-leg” stool meets Maija Isola’s wave-like Lokki pattern. Inspired by sunlight rippling across a curtain, the motif comes alive in marquetry on birch veneer, where contrasting grains shimmer with every shift of light. Crafted at Artek’s Turku factory, this limited-edition piece blends timeless woodwork with Marimekko’s joyful spirit.
