Shawn Stussy first started handcrafting custom surfboards in the early ‘80s, working out of his garage in California. Fast forward, and Stüssy is now a streetwear icon. This season, Stüssy presents a summer staple with its Big Basic water shorts, which are signed off with a contrasting logo at the leg, inspired by the graffiti handstyles of abstract artist Jan Frederick Stussy - Shawn’s uncle.
