Uniform Bridge is best described as a love letter to the archives. The label was founded in 2015 by Hyon-Soo: a designer with a steadfast appreciation for vintage sportswear, military garb and outerwear. But that doesn’t mean everything is completely tethered to the past — far from it, as the label operates as a fusion of historical and present, elevating archival designs through use of contemporary materials and details.

For AW21, Uniform Bridge extends that approach, continuing to deep dive into the archives and rework garments through a modern lens. Jackets, for example, feature utilitarian details to nod to old-school workwear and military garb, only they’re cut to relaxed fits and elevated using contemporary materials like PrimaLoft®. The label’s penchant for Americana-inspired pieces is clear, too, with varsity jackets crafted from a woollen material and sportswear that mimics old-school warm-up gear.
