That treasure‑chest storefront eventually sparked a bigger idea: a clothing line that pushed back against everything broken in fashion.

The solution wasn’t to chase newness, but to rework what already existed. Early Deadwood leather biker jackets were stitched from vintage scraps sourced through friends in Bangkok, imperfect in all the right ways. Over time, Deadwood refined the process, shifting from old garments to production leftovers, deadstock hides, and factory offcuts — the 30–40% of leather the industry throws away.
