Big Rock Candy Mountaineering sits at the crossroads of vintage collecting, outdoor culture and thoughtful design. Co-founded by industry veterans Samuel Hardeman and Peter Middleton, the brand grew from an obsession familiar to anyone who has spent too long scrolling through old climbing catalogues: tracking down legendary pieces of outdoor gear that either no longer exist or cost a small fortune when they do. Drawing inspiration from the golden age of mountaineering, climbing and outdoor exploration, Big Rock Candy Mountaineering studies the products, personalities and stories that helped shape the early outdoor industry. Parkas nod to vintage Eddie Bauer, shorts recall classic Patagonia, and eclectic graphics channel the free-spirited energy of the decades in between. Rather than reproducing the past, however, BRCM reinterprets it through contemporary fits, fabrics and colour palettes. The result is outdoor clothing with genuine character, designed for mountain trails, campsite mornings and everyday life.
