A much sought after capsule of incredibly inventive designs, the Nike x Pigalle collection takes inspiration from the both Parisian brands life long love affair with Basketball and the Air Force 1, a truly legendary ball shoe and one that has had a defining impact on the sport itself. Inspired by the passing of time, the wear and tear of the court and the spirit of opposition this is one of the most comprehensive and innovative releases of the year so far.
Taking on an all time great from the Beaverton archives, the Nike x Pigalle Air Force 1 takes inspiration from the world of classic footwear design, removing some of the padding from the classic AF1 and adding in leather laces alongside a contrasting brass eyelet. In order for each pair to age and patina with wear they are constructed from a waxed leather that will break down over time to create a unique look
