Nigel Cabourn Thomas Crean Sleeping Bag Jacket

After a long wait, Nigel Cabourn has finally released Limited Edition 2: Scott's Last Expedition, timed to coincide with the hundredth anniversary of the fateful venture. Working closely with the Scott Polar Research Institute in Cambridge, Nigel has spent six years researching the expedition, focussing specifically on the clothing and gear the explorers used. The sleeping bag jacket is inspired by the sheepskin sleeping bags that the expedition party made themselves, some of which remain in the Polar Research Institute archives. The jacket is crafted in Scotland by Aero Leathers, using the finest quality sheep skins, which are left in their natural un-dyed colour.
