Vans x Purlicue Old Skool 'Year of the Pig'Rose Cloud & Black

Starting off the Chinese Lunar New Year with a bang, Vans team up with Purlicue, bringing the ‘Year of the Pig’ to this reimagined Old Skool. Taking on the colours of the 12th animal in the Chinese zodiac, the Old Skool rewrite wraps up completely in ‘Rose Cloud’ pink, taking the pastel tones down to the sole. Adapting the classic skate style with an interchangeable sidestripe taking the place of its usually-white rendition, Purlicue deliver this version with a chunky black finish. Taking the oversized aesthetic to the heel, Vans’ ‘Off the Wall’ patch comes exaggerated in a contemporary black and white colourway, while the sneaker’s signature gum rubber sole comes printed with a ‘The Far Year’ print – paying homage to the capsule’s ‘laid-back, not lazy’ motto.
