110 years after its debut, the Skid Grip is revived from Converse’s archives and treated to a punk-inspired makeover, in honour of its underground legacy. The uppers are crafted from the usual canvas, but they’re patchworked with ivy, scarlet and buttercup tartan — a pattern synonymous with subcultural uniforms. If the vibrant upper wasn’t unique enough, it’s completed with a chunky, wedged rubber sole unit.
