Artifact by Superga takes inspiration from archival styles to pay homage to over 100 years of shoemaking expertise. The line’s all-black W-14 is a fine example. It’s built with cotton moleskin uppers – sourced from the oldest fabric mill in the UK, Brisbane Moss – and a rubber cupsole that has the brand’s signature bumper texture turned 45 degrees for a diamond appearance, while an Artifact-specific heel plaque harks back to those seen on the brand’s tennis shoes from the ‘50s.
