Description
Here, the classic MA-1 jacket – created in the late 1940’s by the US Air Force – gets a sleek, Scandinavian update courtesy of Acne Studios. The padded shape is crafted from requisite black satin nylon, but in signature Acne style, the shape is subversively altered – the original coat is shortened and its puffed sleeves exaggerated. It retains the bright orange satin lining, which flashes appealing when the jacket is worn open. Heavy silver hardware and a branded zip pull on the utility pocket complete the look to spec.
