Yohji Yamamoto’s Y-3 is renowned for its avant-garde meets sport aesthetic, and it’s on full display with this Runner 4D IO. What looks to be a regular technical sneaker at first is actually far more, with ripstop uppers and a detachable Primeknit sock — two colours are included — combining to hug your foot. The latest 4D midsole is used, too, the lattice structure of which is designed to give cushioning and support in the spots it’s needed most.
